Outdoor pyrotechnics, including arena pyro and stadium pyro offers more variety than indoor pyrotechnics or stage pyro, because safety distances are generally greater, you’re less restricted by ceiling height, and any smoke generated has a better chance of dissipating – so you can use more pyro without getting “smoked out”. Outdoor pyrotechnics are more varied, and subject to the exact size and nature of the space available, could be used to create more impressive longer-duration effects, sequences and even full pyrotechnic displays.
Included in the range of outdoor pyrotechnics are flares, comets, mines, fountains, and you could consider set pieces such as lancework and firesculpture. As always, please call or email us at Alchemy Fireworks if you are considering outdoor pyro for a forthcoming event. We will be glad to discuss the various pyro and firework options with you and help you achieve the desired effect in safe and spectacular style. Just one cautionary note though: whatever you do, don’t ask Rob about the time he fired some outdoor pyro for J-Lo gig: he just tends to glaze over with a fixed smile.
